anybody know about double decal MTA

It could be the tractor had the factory replacement decals added to "freshen up" the tractor after it had been sitting on the dealer"s lot for so long that the decal style had a change in it. Is so, the replacement decal would have been installed over the top of the original decal, and the replacement decal would have a red background instead of being clear.

A replacement decal set came with both styles and some moron thought he needed to use everything in the package.

Ok here goes, I suppose some of you won't believe me. I would guess that when it was repainted , who ever did it put both sets of decals that come in the decal set. You see, you could get a Super MTA with out a TA and then you used the round one, if it had a TA you used the one with the torque amplifier wrote on it. Sounds dumb but that is the way it was.

I have ben around this MTA all my life my neigbor has owend it since new I personly delivered this tractor to the auction.I just noticed the double decal saturday I know it has never been painted

Golly. Then, I guess we will all always wonder how the red overspray paint got all over the serial number tag....

Regardless of whether the tractor has been painted or not, one thing is for certain: The double decals do not indicate anything special about the tractor. It is just a plain old Super MTA that someone put extra decals on BY MISTAKE...

Don't forget that 2 decals suited the owner back then and he could have cared less what the correct police would think down the road.
