I am trying to pull the bull gear off the axle and it wont come off. I have taken the bolt out on the inside and heated the bull gear and it still wont come off any thing well help at this time thanks Devin

The bull gear cannot move inwards Without having the pinion carriers out of the way (and other things) The only way (I know of) is to push the axle out of the Bull.
Remove the outer bearing/seal retainer (where the axle comes out of the housing)
Put the bolt back in the bull gear until finger tight (all the way in).
Block between the bull gear bolt just mentioned, and the bull gear on the other axle with a metal block or stack. Now turn the bolt out so its head is forced against the stack and its threads push on the axle. It will move it easily. Re tighten and shim as needed to push it out of the housing. JimN

If you have a porta power, this is how I did it.
