stealing another's thread with just a question, using another's image:

which direction is the oil flow?
from the lift cover (the stubby nipple in the pic), or to the lift cover?

Hi, not sure but you can crank the engine with the stop on, just few turn.Bernard le mécano

thanks. A good idea if it were of my tractor. but,
the photo is representative and of another tractor. The one i'm working on is still completely assembled and i may not be able to disassemble until i have all the parts ready for my project.

Hi Karl, that particular 674 that the picture belongs to is different from the regular 674s. It was a Euro orchard model. On a normal 674 the pipe that is connected to the top of the aux valve via 90 degree elbow is the high pressure return line back to the depth control system behind the seat.
