3688 Axle

I have had a bearing go out on my rear drive axle and the seal has worn into the axle severely. My tractor has extended axles that I really don"t need. Can I get a used non extended axle and replace the damaged extended axle or do I need an extended axle?

Does any one have or know where I can get a used axle for my tractor quickly as I am in need of it real soon (yesterday).

You might want to check, but I was thinking that the 30 series used the same axles as the 86 series and you should not have much trouble finding them at a salvage yard. Check and see if the 1086 used the same axle. The 14 and 1586 used a larger than the 1086 and I am thinking the 3688 has the same axle as the 1086.
