Super H fuel problem

Tractor had sat for 5 years. Replaced manifold and cleaned tk. carb etc and tractor wouldn't run unless the choke was out. Rebuilt carb and it ran ok for a few days and has started back having to pull choke out to run.

Garbage gets in and collects in nooks and crannies.
Several cleanings may be needed before it clears up. There is a screen in the carb inlet that is often overlooked. Do not put an inline filter on it. The only one suitable (NAPA) is for gravity systems, and is not needed.
If it runs for quite some time with the choke out some (4 or 5 min.) the carb has the issue, not the lines. JimN

You have already diagnosed the problem which is fuel flow. Clean carburetors can only be obtained for sure by disassembly and soaking them in carb cleaner. But, the problem could be further up. Check the screen in the fitting on the carb for the fuel line if you haven't already. Clean the opening out of the tank, make sure the line is clean. Running ok for a few days and then dying, indicates that something is plugged.
