560 Farmall

Did the 560 come from the factory with 18.4x34 tires on it? My dad had a 63 model that came out with 16.9x34 tires on pressed steel wheels, but I dont know if any came out with 18.4s or not. Can any one direct me to a site that will tell me? Thanks!

Far as I know, most 560"s came out with 15.5.38"s. Sounds like a custom order when the tractor was bought.

My owners manual does indeed list 16.9x34 and 18.4x34 in the ground speed chart for the F560 and F560 Hi-clear. You'll have to dig thru the IPLs on the CaseIH website to see what centers and rims were used. I suspect the default size would be 15.5x38.

Personally, if I had to get new tires all over again, I'd go with the 16.9x38. 15.5x38 seems to make the tractor run uphill just a bit.

Thanks to all who replied--Just got off the Case IH site and found out that the 560 could be ordered with 13x38-15.5x38-16.9x38-16.9x34-18.4x34 and also 30" as well as steel lug wheels and factory duals with 9 bolt cast wheels and spacers etc. Thanks again

A heavy tillage package for 560s came with a slower third gear, pressed wheels,and 18.4 or 16.9 34" tires.
