Chad: Is it just the actual number upside down, or is the whole tag upside down? I know I removed my tag for painting. When I replaced it, with seat support off tractor, it could have been quite wasy to make that mistake. Maybe I did, best take a look at sun up.

Now if it's just the number, someone must have replaced the tag. Since new replacement tags come with print on them, either he stamped the numbers that way on purpose, or he's not playing with a full deck.

Well Chad, in a nutshell:

SOMEBODY SCREWED UP

It's a simple mistake. There is nothing about it that makes the tractor special or worth more.

Can't say. Did you roll the tractor over? What do you mean by upside down. Which number, motor or chassis????

You sure you are looking at the serial number? What is it? A lot of part numbers are upside down.

Chad: Wake up, we have questions. All IH serial numbers are STAMPED, not cast in place. Doesn't matter whether it be tractor or engine serial number.

All those cast in place numbers and letters are date codes, part numbers, firing order, etc.
