Adding 3-point to 140 IH without fast hitch

What is the simplest way to add a 3-point hitch assembly to an IH 140 tractor without fast hitch? See attached photo. I will attach a link to the hydraulic arm. THis is a 1964 model. Thanks

Looks like all your rear hydraulic arms and linkage are missing. First, get those and then you can either buy an aftermarket 3-point conversion from someone like Worksaver, or fashion your own design.

MF: By the time you get a 3 point hitch on that 140, it will be less money to buy another tractor. You don't have a rear rockshaft, and the front rockshaft does not have a lift arm for operating a the rear rockshaft.

Don't buy a Worksaver, they do well to lift 300 lbs. Build your own hitch, quite easy to make these lift 600-700 lbs., however the geometry has to be right.

That said, it will cost you $1,200. to put a 3 point hitch on that tractor, by the time you chase down everything you need.

In case anyone is wondering, the front lift arm is for the AI-23 highway mower. That also explains the missing rear rock-shaft.

MF: Buy one with fast hitch, so much easier and cheaper to build a 3 point hitch kit if you have fast hitch. I have it on both my 130 and 140, and I designed it so I can change from one point fast hitch to 3 point hitch in less than 5 min., and without wrenches.
