53 Super A not starting

Last night mom ran the Super A out of gas and left the switch on. This morning I refuel it, go to start it, it's dead, won't even try to turn over, I try coasting it down a steep hill, nothing. We pull it up to the shop, the battery has 11.24 volts, the switch is good, the resistor has 1.5 ohms, and the points and condenser look good, no obvious burns, arching or overheating, same for the coil, and all connections are clean.
I need to go to work now, (second shift factory life is great, no?...yea right!)
What do I look at in the morning?
All help is appreciated.

Thanks, Adrian

I'd be "looking at" a good battery charge the first thing, that may be allllllll she needs. If the points arent burned or carboned over they may be okay. Of course, leaving the ignition on may have overheated n harmed the coil, the other Id be "looking at" would be to see if the coils primary (between its lil + and - terminals) still has continuity (not burned open). An ohmmeter should show around 1.25 to under 2 ohms if its a 6 volt coil,,,,,,,,,of course, if it reads an open circuit its badddddddd..

Put a test pamp on the coils input (from ign switch) n turn her on and a test lamp or voltmeter should read hot voltage. Then place it over on the output (to distributor) terminal and there should be near zero volts when points are closed but hot battery voltage when points are open UNLESS the coils primary is burned open

Adrain: I'm not going to try and analyse your problem. Been close to 60 years since I encountered my first Farmall gasser, had as many as 4 of them at once and 12 lifetime all working tractors. Every time I ever left a switch on it cost me a set of points and condencer. I have installed coils, but never immediately after a switch left on event.

I've never had much luck letting my mom or my aunt drive my tractor(s). I love 'em both, but some things just don't work out well for me around here.
