Watch out for this EBAY

Watch out for any items listed by jamy1997. I bought a live hydraulic pump, paid for it with paypal twice. The seller claimed that paypal was not working correctly, and I was then asked by the seller to pay cash.

I declined to pay cash and asked the seller to cancel the sale. They put a non-payment claim on me with EBAY.

All of your rights to file a claim against the seller are revoked if they file a claim against you first.

BE CAREFUL.

I had this happen on a sale I would not complete due to an falsely advertised item. If you appeal the non payment claim with eBay and they remove the non payment strike, you can also file a claim with PayPal. I got my money back and the non payment strike removed. It took about 3 weeks.

David, I had an iteam that was (buy it now) and I needed 2 of them so I emailed the seller and he sent me an invoice off ebay and I mailed him a money order. Did not get the iteam in 4 weeks
emailed the seller no returned email.
Got his phone # no returned phone call.
So I call the local Police and they went to the seller home. I got an email that the iteam was just shipped and had my 2) iteam the next week. Don't let these dirt bag get away with internet freud. Oldiron29

I have checked with Paypal and my credit card company, so it looks like I will get my money back. It just irks me that ebay treats buyers so badly.

I have sent ebay a bad review and never heard back from them. It does not appear that ebay handles these disputes fairly.

I have bought alot of items, some several hundred dollar items, on EBay and have never had a problem YET. I always get an e mail from pay pal within minutes verifying that payment has been sent to seller. Had one item that turned out to be from some offshore vender and got warning from EBay that seller had been banned from EBay but old lucky me got my item promptly as described actualy turned out to be Nissan OEM part. If seller does not have near 100% satisfaction rating on a good number of transactions I do not bid.

The seller probably changed his email address in the recent past. Even though he probably went to both his eBay and PayPal accounts to change his address, both companies will still hang on to the old addresses. The account holder can't see them.

It has happened to me as a seller who has recently changed his email addy. I wasn't able to get the money. It's annoying. I fixed the problem by sending both companies an email explaining the problem. The missing money hit my PayPal account within a couple of hours.

I love eBay. I have had more than 80 transactions and they have all been good. Where else could I get $196 for this item? Click on link. I have also had some great buys.

I seldom buy on Ebay any more. I was looking for a belt pulley for my A and watched the same pulley go thru the system 3 times, each time it was sold for less than others listed. I believe that the seller didnt get his price so he bid it up and then relisted it several days later. It is there now for the 4th time. Henry

Used to buy some stuff on eBay, but when they quit allowing most gun parts, I quit. [u:74f9a07faa]I tried to drop my account, but they emailed back that if I did, I could never open another account from this email address.[/u:74f9a07faa] My wife was still using it occasionally, so I still have an account. When My wife says she's through with it, I'll drop it. I did buy a low voltage power supply for landscape use since then, but that was only because it was where my landscaper recommended getting one. If I bought it myself I could save a little instead of him ordering it.

E-bay has treated me like crap the last few years. I won't buy or sell anything on there. Go once in a while just to see what stuff is selling for. Asked a lot of questions and asked for help from them b***holes and never got a response. Even sent a letter by snail mail and they won't return phone calls.
Seems like they singled me out for some reason and I have a 100% positive feedback rating.

I will never do business on ebay again. NEVER. They force every user to use PayPal by saying they are looking out for sellers and buyers. When in fact they are a corrupt organization that is designed to steal money from both the sellers and the buyers. They are a dishonest and corrupt organization that is legally stealing money. They are nothing but gangsters.
If you value honesty and integrity you will not use ebay.
There are many many websites to use to buy and sell goods without being vandalized by ebay. This site, Craigs etc.
You still have to use due dilligents, but at least you are not being held hostage by the likes of ebay crooks.
Please do a site search on Buyers and Sellers Suggestions.
