Farmall 140 Live hydraulic connsction

Depends on what you consider quick.

The only way to get an external hydraulic control is to install a bypass block, available on ebay from a nice gentleman in Buffalo, in between the hydraulic lines and the touch control body.

The hydraulic reservior capacity is not large enough to operate a one-way valve. It only holds about 3 quarts and you would drain it almost dry extending the cylinder. I added a 3 gallon tank to my C so that I would have capacity to raise the hoist on an old wagon. You need to get a priority valve so that you can maintain pressure to the addon spool valve. The way the touch control works is that there is an internal bypass valve that dumps once the rockshafts reach the desired position in relation to the control lever position. Once they stop moving there is no high pressure to the spool valve.
