To all my many friends south of the border, Happy 4th of July. We'll understand if you don't have lot of YT time today, and if you don't rise early tomorrow.

We'll maybe we should expect you up at crack of dawn tomorrow. Least that is how my dad used to look at it, party as hard as you want to tonight, but you better be on deck at milking time in the morning. Like you we thought that was cruel.
 
My late dad told me the same thing when I going with my wife. I don't care how late you stay out, but you need to be here to help milk those cows. That sure changed when my brother joined the Air Force in 1951 & I was drafted in 1953. I got married too. Still have the same wife. Hal
 
A twin brother will make you get up at the crack of dawn. If you got to the milk barn first maybe after milking and breakfast dad would call your name to go take the F-20 out and start working ground. Always some intense moments for a 12 year old when your 12 year old brother is sitting beside you at the breakfast table. (I've had to cope with stress at a early age.)

Thanks Hugh, many of us have forgotten Canada Day, Hope you had a good day. But I don't remember much partying on the 4 in South Dakota, just nice family time. May be some people party. And those milking cows, non forgiving.
 
Thanks Hugh I had a great 4 th. Hope you all did too. I got the Cub out and took it for a Holiday ride.....
