Farmall M decals

Years ago when we painted one of our M's, we got a great deal at a local parts store for an old set of Farmall M decals. The difference was that the "M" decal had a white background.....The tractor still has these on and when i repaint the tractor I'd like to find another set........Where did these come from and can the still be purchased?.......Thanks

Farmall Decals with a white background usually are for "super" tractors Super A,B,C,H,M, etc... If it just says M in the white background with no super on it, that is probably why you got them at a great price. If your tractor is a reg. M, it will be a clear decal with the letter M, that way when you put it on your tractor the decal will be red, like the tractor.

I have seen the decals with the white backgound such as you describe. In fact, I have seen quite a few, and this was several years ago. Long enough back to make me think that maybe those decals came from the dealers themselves, or possibly from Tractor Supply before they became TSC. I do not know for sure though, and I do not know where to find them now.

I know that most have the clear backing. I've saw just a couple including mine and it's just something different.....I guess after seeing mine with the white background I just got use to it and would like to keep it that way

Might want to be a little creative and carefully paint the area behind that decal with white paint. I've seen it done that way on the "white demonstrator" tractors when the owner wanted red to show up behind the decal.

I've also considered taking a decal up to a graphics shop and see what they can do with it.
