Appraisal for Cub and some attachments

Hello All,

I am trying to get a guy an approximate value on his tractor and equipment. We use a decent amount of acreage of his, and he asked for this, so here goes....

The cub I would rate at a 6.5 out of 10. With a battery and a good once over it could be "field ready" in a day. Has new tires, and all original lights and decals are in place.

He also has a bi-directional mold board
for this tractor, A single set of drawbar discs,
and a 2 section drag.

The tractor also has an IH plow blade for the front.

He is wondering what a fair asking price is for the set.

Thank you,

KJC

I bought a Cub on Ebay with 42" belly mower and full set of cultavators for $1050. Tires were good but not new. Paint was faded but good. Sheet metal was straight. Minor problems with timing and a leaking hydraulic pump. Fixed all for less than $75.

Here in Michigan i would say $2500.00 to $3000.00 would be a fair price. I have seen them in the $3000.00 to $4000.00 range on full restored ones.

I have a 55 that is ground up restoration and a 54 that was a barn find. I wouldn't take anything under $4000.00 on the 55 ,it has the stainless skipt on the hood and the exhaust goes out under the tractor like a lowboy. Cubs are going up in value.
