What Did This Start Out As?

I'm with tv up to a point.

The 140 the seller talks about would be offset and have a wide front (or rear in this case). This is pretty obviously centered up.

But the big rear/front tires look more like 24s for an A/B/1xx than the 36s on the C/2xx. If that observation is correct it could depend on when it was built and how. If 47 or prior it could be on a B/BN. After that, it could have been on a custom run of an A/SA/1xx chassis with a long left axle and the front(rear) pedestal from a C. There's enough custom fitment there, that flipping a right-side axle housing to the left wouldn't have slowed down the customization any. It could be about anything.

the honeybees were modified b - 140. very much changed but thats what they started out as. the rear trans is the same, just reversed pinion to run backward, refabricated seat to center, and cluch, brake pedals. and about a foot of the cluch housing removed and welded back together. a nice interesting unit, i have one but if you have real work to do outside on uneven ground get a skid loader or tractor, its much safer.

just another couple of things. the wide front end was not used, always narrow and after rebuild was the rear. the real interesting units, to me, were the last model produced. It had a c-135 engine, diving a hydro pump, that drove a hydro motor at the pto mount. a true hydro, drive and steering as the now rear pedestel was controled by a hydraulic cylinder. i have one of these also but it is not running. like i said, interesting units.
