I understand that the front wheels were white (cream), rear rims silver, and dash gray. Was the screen under the white grill painted ih white as well?

Yes....the screen is painted white. The screen and grille were painted together as an assembly.

Are you talking 340 Utility or 340 Farmall for the front wheels ? On the Utility version the white would be correct and it would have white rears as well with silver rims, but if it`s the Farmall, then it should have red wheels front and rear with silver rims on rear.Also they changed to black dash in 1960 or 61.
