Hello. I saw an ad in the newspaper today for a front snow blade for a Farmall A. Would that blade fit my BN? THanks

Probably not as is. The front implement mounts are entirely different between the two tractors. Between that and overcoming anything in the mount that accounts for the offset of the A, it would involve some fabrication at some point. Not undoable, just a matter of how much work.

Thanks Scotty. I don't know anything much about the A so didn't have any idea about implement mounts. I guess I was hoping is would be an easy fit.

I agree with Scotty, but looking at it might be worth the effort if it is reasonable in cost, and pretty easy to adapt to your narrow front. JimN

I agree with pretty much everything said to this point. However, how are you going to raise and lower it? BN did not come with hydraulics to the best of my knowledge, they only used the exhaust lift. I also believe that hydraulics can be added if you have the correct block with the opening for the pump.

IMHO.
