300u rear axle leaking

My 300u that I have is leaking oil from the rear axle hub. I havent taken it apart yet but is it going to be a big fix? I didnt know if there is a seal in front of the bearing or if I have to take the shaft out to replace it?

Go to caseih.com and look at their blow-up of the 300 utility. It will give you a good idea of what to expect. This is not a big job as long as you have something to handle the wheel with.

I did this last fall and it went very well. I took off the rim and tire, not filled and easy to handle. Then took off the wheel and pulled the hub off the axle splines. This is where I thought I would have trouble, but the splines still had lube on them and the hub pulled right off. Be sure to get the o-ring that keeps oil from leaking out through the splines.
