Farmall 400 rear belt pulley

Does anyone know the value of a rear belt pulley assembly that fits a farmall 400?You remove the pto and bolt this in its place.

I presume this is what you are talking about. The planetary IPTO remains in place but the rear plate is replaced so that the gearbox can bolt up. The rear belt pulley was initially developed for tractors such as the 300-350 utilities that frequently had loaders.

They came is several different ratios and were also used on later tractors with 1000 RPM PTO speeds. Side mounted belt pulleys were phased out and this was the only way to add a belt pulley.

I have seen one 1000 RPM unit go for about $750 on eBay. Don't assume that you can get that for yours. Put it on eBay with a $250 reserve and see what happens.
