cub hydraulics

recently purchased a 1952 cub with touch control hydraulics and i do not seem to be able to get the hydraulics to park or stop . It seems like it is always working. either wanting to move the rock shaft up or down. ? is there an adjustment for this. or since i do not have any attachments can i disconnect the hydraulic pump so it will not work any more

Sounds like a check valve inside the res is stuck or not fully seating anymore.

The control valve is not adjusted correctly.

I have a simlar problem on a Super C. The hydraulics will get hot after about 30 min. of operation. I have taken it apart and cleaned everything. I have not been able to find the problem. The book refers to a crack in the housing. Good luck!
