are these good tractors,engine and trans power,any major problems?supposed to be a 85 model. any info is appreciated.

man also stated that sometimes tractor would not pull off and clutch would have to mashed again and light would go off and tractor will pull,6500hrs

I have heard so this is only here say, that they had issues with the fan since it goes through the radiator and works as a pull fan the bearings fail and of course you can guess the rest. This is only here say now so take it for what it is.

IHC only made these tractors a couple years. Parts are pricey and there are few in salvage. There were updates that needed to be done on the transmissions. Make sure the one your looking at has them. The early trans computer "SENTRY" can be a source of trouble.

Good tractor. Your model shouldn't have the fan issue. That was a problem for earlier models and tractors were supposed to be changed over to a heavier fan bearing. Parking brake cable can be a problem, but updates there solved that problem too.
