560 Gas Wheatland

I have a 560 gas Wheatland with a bad engine. I have several questions.
1. What is the weight of this tractor
2. Is there any value for a collector or part it out, or scrap as is. The sheet metal is very nice condition.
3. What do you believe it is worth with a bad engine, but good TA, trans. and rear end.
Any input would be very much appreciated.

Just guessing, but it could be worth $500 or more as is. Strip it down and sell the parts and you might end up with $1,000 or better, but it will take several years to get to that point, and even then you will probably have a few pieces of it still setting. Whatever you do, please do not send it to china.

How bad is the engine? If the rest of the tractor is good I would offer you $500 or maybe even alittle more. The trip from so. Minn. would not be cheap, but Iv"e gone just as far for less. Fixed and painted up it would make a nice parade or show tractor. Weight I would say is 6,000 to 7,000 lbs. Let me know. RichH

I'd be interested in many of the smaller sheet metal parts that fit around the sides of the fenders, cowl, and deck.

I do not think I would consider sending it to china unless scrap was back at 295.00 a ton.
I would rather sell it complete as is and yes it does have power steering. I was hoping to get 1000.00 so may just wait and see if a used engine comes up.
Thanks so much for all your input and interest. I will try to get pictures sometime.

Sammy- It should weigh about 6400lbs without fluid or weights. They didn't make many gas wheatlands, and I sure wouldn't part it out. Once it's gone, it's gone. I have a diesel, and would like to find a gas or diesel with a bad engine. I have a 414 I would like to shoehorn into one. I would definately give you more than $500, if I could get it to Illinois reasonably.
