I just fixed a couple of minor problems I was having and I don't want to cause a major one in the process. The H has been converted to 12V and I flipped the bracket over so that the alternator fits under the hood and the belt is a little less floppy. The alternator case(if that's the right word) is now touching the valve cover and I am wondering if that is okay. I can't see why it would matter, but if it does I don't want to ruin the alternator. I also put a cotter pin and a washer in the end of the horizontal steering shaft this afternoon and now instead of a third of a turn of play I have no play to speak of, but the wheel is a little stiffer to turn.
