13.6 x 38 12 ply

has anyone ever put 13.6 x 38 12 ply titans tires on a farmall h. how difficult will this be? pretty cheap price but i imagine it is going to be pretty hard. was these tires really made for 2 piece rims? thanks for any info.

The problem with 12 ply tires on a light tractor like your H will be these tires will never flex and bite in the dirt to pull much. As far as mounting ,I would think it could be done with out too much trouble.I have never tried this and I have an H with the same size tires on a 12 inch rim.Good Luck

I've done both 4 & 6 ply without any great difficulty. I have a friend who mounted an 8 ply (it was all he could get to match another nearly new tire) and (he mounts a lot of tires) he had a really hard time with it. This was on a 400. Sam

i live in the foothills of nc maybe two straight days of below freezing weather will 5 gallons of full strenght antifreeze filled full of water in 13.6 be ok

will it flex and bite with one set of wheel weights and full of water 12 ply?????

I am 20 miles west of Charlotte and have an M with 13.6x38s. Five gallons of antifreeze in each rear tire with water to 75% full. No problems in about 30 years. It's my "go to" tractor in the winter because it will crank when some of the others won't.
