113 cam help

Hello, i am going to rebuild the motor in my super-a. i can get all the rebuild parts but the cam it is not available anymore. surely all the rebuilds going on someone needs a cam once an awhile what are they doing for a cam

I have never seen a worn cam in all those engines i have rebuilt so i dont seeany reason to change yours the lobes still arent worn are they? Just make sure when the single dot is on the tooth of the crank and the 2 dots areon the mag gears two dots. When they are lined up you are on tdc then install the mag,dixt to #1 fire.

If everything but the lobes is okay, you mite look for cam regrinding services on the internet.

And do not for get to get new lifters too or the new or reground cam will not last long , Don't know where your at but i have had severl cams done by R&R macine in Akron Ohio and also for the pulling engines HAPCO in Terre Haute Indy.

Have it reground. Contact Berry Cam 320-395-2377. They can reface your lifters too.
