were they ever offered for a farmall H, Man i would want a set of them....talk about a coversation peice

I've seen several M's fitted with ARPS halftracks at shows the past few years. Don't recall ever seeing halftrackes on an H but see no reason why they wouldn't work.

Incidentally when I was a kid halftracks fitted to Ford N's, NAA's, Fergies, etc. were fairly common here in upstate NY.

The Arps metal half track kit carries the same part number for both the H and M and descendents. The actual track, as installed, is three cleats shorter on the H when using standard tires for each tractor.

I presume the package was sold with the maximum number of cleats for a 560 and the track was shortened to fit smaller tires. I suppose it was also possible that dealers bought the track in bulk and then cut it to fit.

I have a set that came off a 400. The tracks are now on a H.

Arps offered half tracks for basicly all of the Farmalls from the Cub through the M sized tractors as well as most other brand popular models.

I have a set of half tracks for an M and was wondering if anyone knew of where I could get new belts for them? I would like to put them on our M again.
