Super C Hydraulics - Air in LIne ?? or what??

I Installed a New Hydraulic pump - and followed my book on removing air in system by operating control levers several times.
I also put in new Screen in reservoir. I used Case Hy-Tran fluid.
Everythings like brand new.

My system makes a loud screaming noise when i use touch control hydraulics or my seperate loader control lever.

Would air getting in to the lines cause this Noise and also a little lack of power?
Would pinHole leak cause this?
Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks - Bruce

A suction side air leak will do this. Orings and pinholes are possible. If foaming is radical I would suspect this is happening. If you can pressurize the suction side (possibly from the screen mount hole) leaks in the line to the pump might show up! Jim

Jim -
Thanks for the idea.
i am able to pressurize through the fill hole. i'll put in 20 - 30 psi and see what happens.
i never would think a pin hole leak could cause this. I called a local tractor house. They told me same thing.
