IH 990 mower conditioner

i posted this in the impliment forum and didnt get any response. I am looking for a wobble box assembly that runs the sickle bar for a 990 IH mower conditioner. Does anyone know where i can find a used one? also would a super m run this mower? thanks

Yes to the Super M. The other may be problematic. I can tell you they don't come up on e-bay very often. Probably a parts machine is going to be a good investment if you are going to seriously use that old of a mower conditioner. Nice machines though.

I have a parts machine . South East Indiana , I d rather get rid of the hole thing as to part it out . Come get it !

yes they are good machines this one was sitting out behind my grandpas shed and the only thing wrong is the wobble box is gone. I got it for free and i found some acres of hay to mow so all i need to do is fix this mower and ill be set. I mite try worthington ag parts see if they would take one off a parts machine.

Check your dealer for a rebuilt one. We got one for our 820 grain head [which is similar]. Only around $150.

I have a complete but well used 990 that belonged to my dad sitting in the weeds @ my Aunts house, in Maryland. It was usable when it was parked, but that's been over 10 years ago.

It's also still covered with snow from the blizzard 2 weeks ago.

Not sure what it's worth, or whether the freight would make sending it to you cost prohibitive.

yeah i will look around to see if i can find one closer its not like im in a big hurry i just want to get it working so when spring comes its ready to go.

a_lead thanks i will look for one closer but if i cant find one i mite have to see what it will cost to have it shipped and all that good stuff.

I am lookinbg for a 990 for parts and i am in Southeast Indiana also. I am near Brookville--where are you?
