International 340 Gas

Currently have a Ford 850 but am looking at buying an International 340(Utility) Gas. The owner (not a dealer) has said the tractor runs good, the sheet metal and paint is in good shape. I can not find much information on the model. Any idea what they sell for and if there are any common problems with this model? No loader and would be used for snow plowing, plowing, brushhog, etc.

bought my 340 row-crop narrow front 5 years ago for $3000. I use it with a 6 foot erskine snow blower (and chains), a 5-foot brush hog, and a 2-16 plow. the plow makes that tractor work but snow blowing and brushing works just fine. I converted mine to 12-volt, rebuilt the starter, and haven't really done anything else.

the short answer is I would buy another one.

If as good as stated (run it for an Hour befor being convinced) it is in the area of 2400 to 3400 with tire condition being a factor Jim

we had a340 when i was in highschool.Biggest piece of junk we ever had
