240 clutch shaft Leaking

Hello, I have a IH 240 Utility that I'm restoring. I've replaced all the bearings in the axles along with seals, gaskets etc. I moved the tractor indoors to the stripping/priming process and I discovered a leal around the clutch shaft. Is there a seal on this shaft?I can't find one on any parts lists I 've seen. Is there a way to stop the leak without tearing the back-end apart again?
Thanks,
Dave

there is a shaft that goes thru to the brake, called the brake pedal shft, there is 2 seals on each side of the tractor, the shaft is only a pivot point for the clutch pedal.

Okay, How do I go about changing the seal? I read that on some older models you can drive the shaft out with a punch and hammer. And on some others, it takes gasoline and handgrenades to get the shaft out. Which catagory do I fit in? I would guess that I would drive the shaft to one side, replace the seal and then drive it the other way to replace the other one...Am I close?
