Replacing Front seal on SH Transmisson

How do you get the coupling off trans. input shaft, It only moved about a third of the way needed to get it off? Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can fashion a puller for the yoke with the input shaft. Hold a shallow 3/4" socket on the end of the shaft and use 3/8" bolts about 2" long through the matched up holes to pull the yoke off.

I had the same problem, I had to create a special pulley, but that only worked for some of the way. What I ended up doing was heating the coupler with a torch and using a pry bar to remove it. Once it was off, I honed the inside of the coupler so it would go on easier. Best of Luck
