What size tires can be mounted on a 15 inch wide rim? Currently have 15.5x38

You ccn easily mount up 16.9X38 with no prblems(I did on my 706)13.6or 18'4 may also be mountable.Check with your tire dealer.

Thanks for the comments. I measured the 15 inches from the bead flat on one side to the bead flat on the other.

MOST tires now days will say right on them the size of rim they should be mounted on. Most of the time if you have say a 15 inch rim then you should have the next size up tire as in a 16?? tire on a 15 inch rim

15.5-38 go on a 15 inch rim. 14.9s go on a 11 or 12 inch rim.
