I'm pulling the bull gears from my H this weekend and need to prop the rear end up. Will a two ton jack and jack stands be sufficient? Kevin

Probably. But I like large wood blocking. If you have stands rated for two ton, does that mean they are rated to hold up a 2 ton car one 1000 lb corner at a time?

Good question. It would take four stands to hold the car up, so if they were rated at two tons each, would you now have the ability to hold eight tons?
