444 hydraulic fill

cant find a dipstick and I think there is a fill plug under the seat, front side between two vent valves. any type fluid ok?? any help filling and level is appreciated,

Hi Steve,
Fill plug is behind the seat on top of hydraulic reservoir casting. When you look in the filler plug hole, you will see sort of a shelf down there. Full level is covering the shelf. Do not over fill as there has to be room for expansion and if you have a loader for return oil.
Use IH Hytran or equivalent hydraulic oil.
