nobody knows how to work on ms carb?

I posted before 464 with marvel schebler carb running like choke is on. It has solenoid where mixture needle would be. Can you adjust it? Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Not at the fuel shutoff. The float level is too high, the needle and seat are leaking, the seat might be loose in the top of the carb, the main jet might have been drilled out, or the jet is loose in the tube. Any one of these could do it! Jim

jp, there is a guy on the Ford 9N2N8N forum who rebuilds these Marvel carbs. His handle is GB in MT.

Yabbut I never heard him talk about one like that. I think he does mostly the N carbs. Does a nice job from the pics though if he can do it and has the time.

Most likely the float has gone bad, or the float valve has gone bad, or both. To the best of my knowledge, that electric solenoid is either fully open or fully closed, and there is no adjustment. A Marvel-Schebler carburetor really is not any different to work on than any other brand. If you can find a tag with a model number somewhere on the carb, we can probably find you the parts you need to fix it.
