I am looking to hook up a set of discs to my SH, to help my friend. I am not sure how to hook the lines up to the belly pump. On the left side of the pump there is 2 fittings and on the right side there is on fitting next to the rod. which one of these would be the pressure side. I have an mid 1953 SH.

They are all pressure for one way hydraulics -- to get 2 way hydraulics you need the original IH valve, or an aftermarket spool valve.

Assuming you're talking about a transport disk harrow, and that you want to lift it out of the ground...

One-way means you have pressure up, gravity down. Works fine for transport disks. All you need to do is figure out which hose causes the disk to go UP, and hook that to the port on the right side. Remove the DOWN hose and replace it with a vented cap, which you should be able to get from any machinery dealer.

That is the cheapest way to hook it up.

If you want pressure-up, pressure-down, it will run you about $200-$250 for the valve and hoses.
