What do you guys use for spray painting,gravity feed or the other style.Would the gravity feed use more paint or are they used for different jobs.I have one with the can on the bottom. Thanks Bill

Gravity feed is generally HVLP, which reduces overspray, thus uses less paint.

Older binks gravity for primer, HVLP 1.4 for topcoat.

Thanks for the replies.My jobs came out pretty good,but still a novice.Started seeing ads for gravity feed,wondered what the difference was.Thanks again,Bill

Your "better" guns will be suction guns, but that doesn't mean a gravity feed gun won't do a good job.
