4-a manure spreader

I've got what looks like a 4-a manure spreader, except it only has the two rear wheels. The tractor hitch on the front looks factory made. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Any information on year made? I've got a picture on the implement forum.

It has a lot of similarities to the pictures of 4-A spreaders I have here. There is a possibility that it is factory made with the hitch for a tractor. IH made their spreaders in multiple models to accomodate both what you had to spread and how you wanted to power it. For example, the popular #100 spreader came in a #100-H and was horse drawn. Yours could be a reverse scenario but more research would be needed. I see no mention of a tractor model in any of my resources.

If it is a 4-A, some stats from the Wendel book:

Total production 45,000 units.
Built from 1932-40
60 bushel capacity
Some options and specs listed, let me know if you need more.
