Increasing the spark of an E-4A mag

I just finished reconstructing an E-4A mag for my 10-20 and it has a weak spark. How can I increase its power?

did you put in a new condenser? thats usually the problem with a weak spark. if you had the magnet off and it attracts a screw driver it should be ok.

Did you install a new coil? Touch those magnets
with a flatblade screwdriver. Those mags have been around for 80 years. Too bad they can't recharge us for another 80 years. This old Wico mag is off an old 2 wheel StandardTwin garden tractor and the magnets are weak. I usually hold on the plug wire and could just feel a faint spark. Hal

Where is the condensor on an E-4A? I usualy replace the coil and condensor on a F-4 mag but did not find a condensor on the E-4A.

The condesor and coil are both in the armeter on e4a try charging the magnet first. Hope this helps.
