Farmall A generator wire help?

took generator off cant figure out where the one wire connects to. I know the white with red tracer goes to the BAT terminal on the regulator. Where does the white with black tracer go? These are the two wires on the wiring harness.

I forgot it is a 3 terminal voltage reg. with no light terminal

From the Gen, there are two wires, one on a larger terminal, and one on a smaller.
The larger terminal hooks to the GEN (or ARM) terminal on the VR
The smaller hooks to the F terminal (or FLD) terminal on the VR Jim

The one with batt voltage goes to the batt terminal on the reg or cut-out whichever you have the other wire went to the lite sw to load the field for hi-chatge. You didnt say if you have a reg or a cut-out but originaly the other wire going back to the lite sw went to the field terminal . So which does your system have. The terminals on the gen are marked A and F they are the same size so you need to look at them careful. Is the Delco Remy tag still on the gen and whats is the #

The F on the gen goes to the F on the reg Bat goes to Battery and the other goes from the A term on the gen to the other post on the reg. The gen posts are marked and are the same size dont get them mixed.
