Found this tractor, What is it?

Any help on the model would be appreciated. My old eyes cannot read the serial number plate.

I424 is what I see, looks to be a US Govt model because they required all that data on the plate. Looks like a nice project to me. Probably wouldn't be a piece worth a load but would make a nice conversation piece.

If you had all the tax dollars spent (wasted, gouged, thrown away) on this machine since it rolled off the line, you could buy your own island and stock it with all the old iron you wished to buy/ship.

My uncle had an old I2424 out of a salt mine. Was a handy little tractor that used very little fuel. It loved ether though.
