450 lp converson

Switching to gas MIGHT gain a couple horsepower depending on the engine setup.

OTOH it will shorten engine life. (Engines fueled with LPG stay incredibly clean inside and thus enjoy extremely long, healthy lives.)

If it were mine I'd leave it on LPG....

A 450 lp IMHO is a somewhat rare beauty!!If it is complete with ensign Eq.and 450 lp head and propane manifold,It's a treasure. Just my 2cts, Tony

I recently converted my M back to gasoline and I can feel the extra power. But mine wasn't a factory propane tractor (no M was) I might have kept it that way if it was

roger4, Do Not convert that 450LP to Gas! There were about the same # of 450LP as SMTAs total!!
So If you want a run of the mill 450 Gas then do a little looking and find one. Or if this tractor is junk to begin with then so what, BUT!, if this tractor turns over or even "Starts and Runs" Do not mess up a more valuable tractor by wanting to convert to gas. JMO......You will do what you want in the end.
