What is the difference between a normal 856 and an 856 custom?

856 and 756 custom were "poor man's"tractors.they had different lighting,only one hyd outlet,no battery covers...little things like that to keep the cost down to compete with the JD 4000/4020

actually,just the 4000....it was a"poor man's" 4020

F856D custom had single element air filter, 37 gal tank, single headlights in flat top fenders, smaller front tires, usually 6 ply 34" rears. I have no idea how many they made.
