As you may remember, I made a clothes washer attachment for my F-400 last year. I am expanding my personal hygiene capability by installing a hot water heater on my W-400.

All kidding aside, I will need hot water for my soda fountain/dipping cabinet ice cream making/vending tractor. Soda fountain can be seen in the background of second picture. It attaches to front Fast Hitch.

Does anyone think I may have IH water pump problems? Yep, I installed a new thermostat.

At a later date, I may move the tube and sheet heat exchanger to where it is visible. It is mostly brass and will look nice near the brass and aluminum LP carb and regulator. In that case, it will be connected to the lower radiator hose and suction side of water pump.

If you move it to the suction side, the water wouldnt be as hot, would it? (Could be a good thing?) Also, whats the deal on the upper housing? Did you fab it or whats it off of?

Good point, Jim.

There is alot more hardware to add. One of which is the ice crusher. It may have to occupy the space where the relocated hot water heater may go later. That is why it is out of sight now. Still need to think about a water tank and ice chest. I am working on the hydrostatic power steering at the moment.

But have no fear. The SS "International" badges will be visible if one looks carefully.

Are you talking about the thermostat housing?

It is stock but I hole-sawed through both sides (transversely) to install the side outlet.

Ya, water temps and consumption are unknown at this time. Chances are I will have to use a tempering valve or other control to get steady but tolerable temps.
