Zenith Carb kit for Cub

Hi,

My friend is looking for a carb kit for a Zenith carburetor on his Cub. The carb is the four bolt version and he keeps getting sent a kit for a five bolt.

Does anyone know what kit number he should ask for? Thanks in advance!

Fella who goes by Rustyfarmall on this board could probably help you out. He will probably see this and respond. If no, I can dig out his invoice and get you his e-mail.
 

There should be a tag on the carburetor. The tag will have the carburetor model number on it. You need to order a kit that is made to fit that model of carburetor. There are about umpteen jillion models of Zenith carburetors, and most of them appear to be nearly identical on the outside, but have substantial differences on the inside. Without a tag number, getting the correct kit is like hunting a needle in a hay stack, and the fact that some have 4 bolts and some of them have 5 really doesn't narrow down the choices enough to make an educated guess.
 
Thanks for the input. I will double check if that tag is there but I am pretty sure it is long gone. I am guessing it will have to be trial and error!
