M Front tire size

Need to get tires for front of a 1941 M and wondering what the correct size tires were. Thank you.

Width is your own preference. But generally 16x7.0

I think 6.00s or 6.50s are the "more correct" option. Just go to CNH parts lookup and look it up! IIRC there are a couple "correct" options.

I've got 6.50-16's on my M and 7.50's on my SMTA. I think the 7.50's are to big. Wish I'd stuck with the 6.50's or 7.00's

600-16's are the standard size...you can go 6.50-16's and it'll still look okay but don't go any larger...just get 8 plys if you can for loaders, pickers, etc. An M looks awful with big fat baloneys on the front especially if set out wide...and they steer like a freight train.

My 450 and one of the SMD's have 6.50's, and the other SMD, the regular M, and the SM I'm getting have 6.00's- JMHO, but the 6.50's seem to look "just right", and the 7.50's would be too big
