Farmall 460 Paint Info

Hey folks, just acquired a '61 Farmall 460. Would like to know the proper colors and paint codes for the red and white areas and can someone tell me what color the wheel rims should be painted? Thanks in advance for your help.

Well i use case ih 2150 red and that should be the closest to original and case ih white which is a kind of off white. The rims are silver or gray and also i use case ih silver paint. That is what i do maybe some one eles has better paint but this works. Erik.

IH 2150 appeared in 1961, it replaced IH 201. The white is IH 901, no longer sold by CaseIH, but can be crossed to PPG 8665, among others. Rims were galvanized, I use PPG 8568, a GM rally wheel color, it is not as bright as the aluminum some people use. Some will say the rims were painted, not galvanized, but mine were definitely galvanized. Anyway, IH did not have a specific color, only that the supplier make them rust resistant.
