Super M transmission pilot bearing

Is this something that can be found at parts stores or bearing places or IH only(Bower mu 5205)? Had a irritating hum/whine noise in neutral and this brg. is junk, hope that's the noise.

The Bower number is good, I found these easily MA5205EL. MA5205EL Give Google a chance. Jim

Ya gotta love the internet. I hardly ever buy from local brick and mortar stores anymore. I have been buying bearings at the link below. The 5205-2RS ("2RS" means two rubber seals) sealed bearing is priced at $8.40. It is also available in shielded for the same money. The bearing is made by KML.

That bearing may not be what you want. Check the dimensions. It is a double row bearing and I don't think IH used them as pilot bearings. But maybe they should have.

Anyway, get a price from the dealer and some place like Steiners or OEM.

"You can get whatever you want at eBay's restaurant". It sure beats going to the local bearing house and paying their high mark-ups and shipping because it is not in stock. You can out-maneuver them.
