350 utility tractor Overheating

I have a 350 utility tractor and it overheats. I noticed that the fan blades don"t run very fast and it seems that the belt may be loose. I can"t find any type of adjustment to make the belt tighter. Any suggestions on how to fix this matter?

Look closer on the water pump.

The front half of the water pump pulley is on a thread. You need to loosen a set screw and then turn the front half of the pulley to tighten the belt.

Besides that, I would do some sort of maintenance flush on the radiator to clean some of the buildup out. You may also need to change the thermostat or the water pump.

MKirsch is correct.
That belt should not be tighter than about a one inch hard push with your thumb between the pulleys.
it is not to be "tight". If tight it will ruin the fan hub bearings.
There are many posts in the archives on adjusting that pulley. Do not get aggressive with it, and remove the setscrew and lube it with penetrating oil before all else. Jim
