H Magneto

I'm changing the points and condenser on my 44 H. While I had it down i decided to clean everything up. The Manual says to use magneto grease...what is magneto grease???? Dielectric grease or would regular grease work. Thanks for any help. Jay

conservative use of good old axle grease will work fine.

If you want Mag greas go to you local airport and ask most will have a matince shop and they will have it. all airplanes that burn gas have mags 2 to be exact. good luck

Oil doesn't separate out of magneto grease the way it does out of good old axle grease. If you can't find magneto grease, use a dielectric grease.
